Birgit Anna Mayerhofer
Birgit has worked for more than two decades in large international organisations as well as in small NGOs in the fields of development cooperation, peacebuilding and humanitarian assistance. She is therefore familiar with the structures, respective advantages and challenges of the various stakeholders in these sectors. Her idea for trans:verse is to strengthen their client’s advantages and mitigate their challenges with expertise and imaginative solutions. Birgit’s drive is to propose innovative ideas based on conflict sensitivity and gender equality. She recently started volunteering with the Austrian Red Cross WASH Disaster Relief and has started training feminist self-defense, not least to gain additional skills for the women's safety trainings she regularly holds. Birgit is a strategic thinker who aspires above all the usability of trans:verse’s products. She is passionate about the HDP nexus, strategic management, knowledge acquisition and sharing.
